Short answer: Use the correct template, keep key content in the safe area, supply 150 to 300 effective DPI, outline fonts, embed links, and follow the required color profile for predictable results.
Start with the right template
Download the product template, respect bleed and safe areas, and keep small type to a minimum for readability under light.
DPI that actually prints well
Most large fabric looks great at 150 to 200 DPI at final size. Go higher for counters or detailed close view elements. See DPI for Backlit Graphics.
Color setup
Work in CMYK or the requested ICC profile. For brand colors, request swatches if needed. Learn more in RGB vs CMYK for Backlit Fabric Prints.
