If you’re planning to use a backlit display or lightbox at a trade show, one of the most common questions is: “What kind of power do I need?” The good news? Most modern backlit displays—including all models sold by BriteBooth—run on standard power outlets. That means you don’t need special wiring, extra circuits, or complicated setups.

Standard Outlet Compatibility

All of our LED lightboxes—including Casonara and SEGO FrameBright systems—are designed to work with standard 110V–120V electrical outlets, like those found in homes, offices, and trade show venues. International models are compatible with 100–240V input voltage and include UL or CE-certified transformers for safe, reliable operation.

Casonara Lightbox Power Specs

  • Power Supply: 400W with leads
  • Power Draw: 1.636 Amps per light array
  • Input Voltage: Standard 110V–120V wall outlet
  • Transformer: Built-in or inline, depending on size

The Casonara system is highly efficient and supports large displays with uniform lighting without requiring high-wattage outlets. A single 400W power supply can usually support a full wall display or tower setup.

FrameBright SEGO Lightbox Power Specs

  • LED Brand: Osram
  • LED Power Consumption: 3W per light module
  • Color Temperature: 6800K (cool white)
  • Brightness: 4800–5800 lumens per m²
  • Beam Angle: 20° for focused illumination

Transformer Info:

  • Includes either 95W or 252W transformers (depending on kit size)
  • UL, CE, and GEM certified
  • Input Voltage: 100–240V
  • Output Voltage: 24V to power the LEDs safely

The SEGO system uses low-voltage output (24V) for safety and energy efficiency, with a modular design that allows for daisy-chaining panels together using multiple power leads if needed.

Tips for Trade Show Power Planning

  • Check Your Booth’s Electrical Plan: Most 10x10 or 10x20 booths come with one or two standard 5A–20A circuits. That’s typically more than enough for lightboxes.
  • Bring Extension Cords: Especially if your power drop isn’t directly behind your display.
  • Use Surge Protectors: Protect your equipment from venue power spikes.
  • Know Your Load: One 20A outlet can typically power several SEGO or Casonara units comfortably.
